Synopsis

Looking after yourself is a skill that some of us struggle to apply. We often think about others and their needs, regularly neglecting our own.  This training explores assertiveness and how to say what we need.  We also look at how to care for ourselves by engaging in meaningful, life- enhancing activities. 

Outcomes

  • Develop an understanding of assertiveness and looking at our own needs
  • Discussing how to prioritise your own self care 
  • Value-based work around your own needs and how to prioritise these to work toward more balance and fulfilment
  • More in-depth training includes practising these skills and troubleshooting around this skill
